協調標準

如果一種產品是根據歐洲的標準來設計并遵守歐洲標準，這樣便假定該產品是符合指示中的安全要求。例如，EN60598覆蓋照明產品，而EN60335則覆蓋家用電氣。具體詳見

制造商或其授權的代表必須將CE標志貼在產品上，并起草一份符合性聲明，細節如下：

◆ the last two digits of the year in which the CE marking was affixed.

技術文件

Technical documentation must enable the conformity of the electrical equipment to the requirements of this Directive to be assessed. It must, as far as relevant for such assessment, cover the design, manufacture and operation of the electrical equipment. It must include: 
◆ a general description of the electrical equipment 電氣設備的一般描述, 
◆ conceptual design and manufacturing drawings and schemes of components, sub-assemblies, circuits, etc. 元件，附件，電路的概念性設計和制造圖紙和方案, 
◆ descriptions and explanations necessary for the understanding of said drawings and schemes and the operation　of the electrical equipment　上述圖表和方案以及電氣設備操作的必要的解釋和描述, 
◆ a list of the standards applied in full or in part, and descriptions of the solutions adopted to satisfy the safety aspects of this Directive where standards have not been applied,全部或部分引用標準的清單，在未采用標準時，為滿足安全要求所采用的的解決方法
◆ results of design calculations made, examinations carried out, etc.設計計算，檢查執行的結果
◆ test reports　測試報告.
